If you have a WordPress website you may experience some difficulty in your existing installation and want to re-install it from the ground. Possibly, what we are doing is deleting the database and configuration files first and then replaced with WordPress configuration sample file and will create a new database. Then do the whole thing one more time! A tedious task!

Reset WordPress Website Manually (Without a Plugin)
The first step is to backup your WordPress database and wp-config.php file and then deletes your WordPress database, wp-config.php file, unused themes, plugins, media and other files. You need an FTP software like Filezilla (https://filezilla-project.org) or have access to your file manager in the hosting control panel to do it. Deleting your database will also delete all of your WordPress sites settings, contents, and pages. Deleting the wp-config.php file deletes all the information about your database and it’s login credentials. Remove unnecessary files, plugins, themes, media from your hosting disk drive.  Now add a new database, write down the database name, username and password for the installation purpose. Check wp-config-sample.php file is available in your installation folder, if not obtain it from a new WordPress installation setup file from the WordPress website (https://wordpress.org/download/) and placed it on the installation root folder (possibly in your website’s public_html folder). Now run the WordPress installation script by adding /wp-admin/install.php to the end of your domain name (http://yourdoamin.com/wp-admin/install.php). Follow the steps to complete the installation. You are done!
