Gmail Introduced a new feature, now you can drag images from your computer into a message. You don’t have to have the insert image tab enabled for it to work. Just drag the image in, resize it if you want, and send.It works fine in  google chrome, but when I tested in Firefox, I found just a  link appears just like the image shown on right, with some features links are also appeared.

Google also introduced one more new feature in to it’s gmail. Now just leave the old things like those steps to attach a file or photos to your gmail, that is, to have to click “Attach a file,” find the photos, click them, etc. Starting today, if you are using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox 3.6, you can just drag and drop the files to attachthem-simple.The following screenshots will really helps to understand the feature.
